We are navigating uncharted waters with wedding & elopement planning in 2021. Coming off of the COVID-19 pandemic, the wedding industry is flexing its muscles again after a mostly non-existent 2020 season. Couples & vendors alike are learning how to be extra-flexible and coming up with unique & creative ways to celebrate with loved ones on a smaller scale. It is, quite honestly, the year of the “micro-wedding”, and we are here for it!

Even as gathering sizes slowly begin to increase in line with vaccinations, we are seeing more and more couples continuing to opt for a smaller, more intimate celebrations. There are those who remain concerned about the virus and want to keep their events smaller, regardless of allowed gathering size. We are also seeing couples who had originally planned on having a large celebration, but are now leaning towards an intimate affair because it’s easier. I think the pandemic has reminded us all of the importance of family, friends and our health. Whatever the reason, small weddings are on the rise and I think they are here to stay.

Couples are embracing the financial benefits of smaller weddings. Dinner for 25 attendees is a fraction of the cost of dinner for 200, so they can have that fancy four course meal they always dreamed of but could not afford. Décor & florals can be over the top fabulous! Suddenly velvet linens & fancy chairs are no longer out of reach. I am so excited about our exclusive packages with Nurture, as they are tailor-made for the micro-wedding couples! With three packages to choose from, couples are sure to find the one that works best for their specific needs. The packages follow Kimberly Rose’s regular wedding packages, in that we offer the same services as we do for larger weddings, which gives couples the choice of how involved they want our team to be.

Regardless of package selection, Nurture and Kimberly Rose Events are looking forward to celebrating your special day in the most special way. We can’t wait to meet you!
